The META Plateforme

Agricultural Methanation Competence Center

APESA and Arvalis have joined forces to create the META Platform in Montardon (64), an innovative tool dedicated to R&D, demonstration, and training. This platform offers a unique continuum from pilot-scale laboratory to pre-industrial scale (150m³), focusing on both Methanation and Agronomy. It aims to address key challenges in the methanation sector, including biomass production, biogas valorization, digestate agronomy, and environmental, economic, and societal impacts.
